I know that 4 years ago when these came out, many had this same problem. All who complained recevied replacements. Good luck with your's, I think you waited way too long to try to return them.

maybe the material rescources for vinyl are slim, maybe vinyl doesn't play too well, in homes that are too teched out....I don't know.......
